E8|Guidelines

1. Respect everyone. In order to get respect, you need to earn respect. Excessive condescending remarks toward opposing players is not tolerated. Trash talking should be kept to a minimum. Respect other players regardless of their origin, nationality, age, gender, race, or religious beliefs. Offenders will be disciplined.

2. Hacking or modifying files is strictly prohibited. First time offenders will be removed from E8 permanently, NO EXCEPTIONS. E8’s definition of hacking is pretty simple. A hack is anything used to gain an advantage over your opponent through scripts, commands, or exploits. Privately testing hacks is strictly prohibited. If a player is subject to a hack allegation, the E8 council will investigate and determine the legitimacy of the allegation. If the allegations are true, the clan member will be removed from E8 immediately.

3. The E8 council will govern all E8 actions. Any clan related issue that comes up will be handled by the council in a timely manner. If you have any suggestions to improve E8 or are having issues with other members, please speak with a council member directly.

4. Communication is vital. E8 doesn’t work unless we communicate with each other. Whether it be on the battlefield or in the forums, don’t disappear. If you are leaving for an extended amount of time (over 2 weeks), please post in the E8|Members section of the forums to let us know. You can leave for an unlimited amount of time
and still retain your E8 status, as long as you communicate with us. E8 members who fail to communicate will be disciplined or removed from E8.

5. You are required to run Xfire while gaming. (Steam for MW2 players)

6. E8 does not support multi-clan gamers. If you wish to quit E8, simply let us know.

7. All scheduled matches will be posted in the forums. First come, first serve. All players who sign up for a match MUST be at the match 20 minutes prior. If you fail to show up 20 minutes prior to a match, you lose your spot in the match.

8. While we may schedule a practice in the forums, no practice is mandatory. If you don’t show up for a practice, you won’t be punished in any way.

9. Practices are scheduled for people willing to take the time to get better. If you show up for a practice, please take it seriously (no killing / tking / smoke / etc ). Practices are not mandatory.

10. Recruiting is via invitation. Tryouts last 7 days. E8 members have 7 days to place their vote in the forums. If an E8 member doesn’t vote, they will not impact the acceptance or denial of the recruit. After seven days, the total amount of “Yes” votes must = 80% or higher or the player will be rejected. Three or more votes are needed for acceptance into E8.

11. All E8 members are required to have a working MIC. You will lose your spot in a scrim / match if your MIC is broken.

12. E8 members are not allowed to tweak game files without permission. You must post any tweak / edit in the "Game Mods" section of the forums. All tweaks must be approved by the E8 council or they will be considered a hack.

13. While gaming on servers not operated by E8, please respect the rules of the server. Their rules become our rules. If you don’t like the rules, join another server.

14. E8 members are not allowed to argue in an opposing clan's / league forums. The E8 council will address all issues directly.
